Import and Export Tool

The Import/Export Tool is an add-on feature allowing the user to import data from another system or export data from MEX. The data can be imported/exported on an ad-hoc basis or scheduled to run automatically using the Windows Scheduler.

The Import Tool allows you to:

• Create and save a template for future use

• Setup scheduled imports from your customised templates

• Import from Excel, CSV, Text and XML file formats

• Import to Purchase Orders

• Import to Readings

• Import to Fuel

The Export Tool allows you to:

• Create and Save a template for future use

• Setup schedules imports from your customised templates

• Export to Excel, CSV, Text and XML file formats

• Export from all tables in the MEX database

• Export from all views in the MEX database

The Import/Export Tool can be accessed from the Tools menu on the MEX toolbar.

There are 4 file types available to import & export, these are:

  • Excel (.xls)
  • CSV (.csv)
  • TEXT (.txt)
  • XML (.xml)

The following imports can be done:

  • Purchase order import
  • Asset Readings Import
  • Fuel Import

Volcano 1. Right click on the desktop and select Properties. Or open Control Panel from the Start button/Settings menu and select Display. 2. From the Display Properties, select Screen Saver. 3. Select 3D Text (OpenGL) as your screen saver type. 4. Click on the Settings button to configure the screen saver. 5. Change the text that the screen saver will display to "Not Evil". 6. Click OK to save the changes. Click the test button or wait until the screen saver kicks in the next time. 7. This will show the names of all the members of the Windows NT developer team. 8.
